It’s been more than two years since I took on running the DayKnight Festival. During that time, I’ve had the chance to work with great volunteers throughout the DK community. Behind the scenes, we’ve worked to put together a framework so that others can take over the event, and hopefully it will continue to give the community another way to get together and play games. With that in place, I’m stepping back from leading this particular project to let the next set of volunteers step up and take their spin on it.
As the next set of volunteers start taking things on, they’ll decide whether they want to continue using this website as part of the event. I’m sure you’ll be hearing more about their plans in the future, but you can keep watching here for more information specifically regarding the site. If you’ve contacted us about volunteering, your information will still be available to the core administrative team, and I fully expect them to respect your privacy as we have. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
The DayKnights are largely a self-organizing community, drawn together from all sorts of backgrounds and interests by games. There are many interesting and entertaining projects DayKnights are working on, and I’m excited to see what else we can put together. I’m also pretty stoked to play some games with y’all at the next Festival!
